Middle Street Shell has been owned and operated by the Elliott family since it's opening in the Spring of 1977.  It was purchased by my dad, William H. Elliott, Jr., from the Texaco Corporation.  He ran the station until 1985 when he sold the business to me.  He semi-retired, working part time until the age of 82 and finally retiring in February of 2009.

We were known as Middle Street Texaco for 20 plus years.  In the mid 2000's, Shell bought the Texaco company and we made the change to Middle Street Shell.  Many of our customers still refer to us as "Texaco" today.

Middle Street Shell is a full service station.  We operate one of the few remaining "full service gasoline islands" that still washes windows and check fluid levels.  Even after all these years, we still love what we do and pride ourselves on our great customer service and honest work ethic.
